CERTIFICATE II IN EQUINE INDUSTRY Billabong Ranch now instructs this fantastic course. It is offered through the local schools as an option for students through the Echuca & District Vocational Educational Training.
The great part about this course being offered at Billabong Ranch is the opportunity to work with a wide range of horses, all on the one site. Many aspects of Horsemanship, horse health & welfare are covered in this two year course.
It is a wonderful way for students to learn about the industry or consolidate & expand the knowledge that they may already have.
Participants range from those that have never had the opportunity to ride or work with horses, through to those that have their own horses & use them for varying disciplines.
The course is both hands on & theory & students can choose to sit an exam in their second year, so they have the option of gaining an ENTER score for this subject.
